蔵造りの一番街に佇む「そうび木のアトリエ」は、木の温もりを五感で感じられる特別なお店です。1968年に設計事務所としてこの地に構え、1997年に現在のショップをオープンしました。店内に一歩足を踏み入れると、木の香りがふわりと広がり、訪れる人を優しく包み込みます。
人気のオリジナル製品
お店の看板商品は、自社工場で一つ一つ丁寧に手作りされる木製の擦り器シリーズです。
- ごまあたり器：胡麻を手でくるくる回すだけで、濃厚な香りが立ち上ります
- あらまっちゃ：煎茶を擦り潰して粉茶に。茶葉の成分を丸ごと楽しめます
- うっでぃみる：木製のコーヒーミルで、金属とは一味違う風味を引き出します
木の雑貨も充実
おもちゃ、アクセサリー、箸、キーホルダーなど、木ならではの温かみのある雑貨が豊富に揃っています。中でも「おふろフィッシング」は、檜でできた海の生き物をお風呂で釣り上げるユニークなおもちゃで、お子様へのプレゼントにもぴったりです。季節の組み木や干支のマグネットなど、見ているだけで心が和むアイテムが並んでいます。

“Soubi Wood Atelier,” located on Ichibangai (Kurazukuri Street), is a special shop where you can feel the warmth of wood with all five senses. It was established here as a design office in 1968 and opened the current shop in 1997. As soon as you step inside, the scent of wood gently spreads, warmly enveloping visitors.

The shop’s signature items are the wooden grinding tools, each carefully handmade at their own factory.
- Goma Atari-ki (Sesame Grinder)： By simply rotating it by hand, you can release the rich aroma of sesame seeds
- Ara Matcha (Coarse Matcha Grinder)： Grind sencha tea leaves into powder to enjoy all the components of the tea leaves
